SASSLA Membership is Tax Deductible

Members receive a statement of contribution which is emailed at the end of the financial year for tax deduction purposes. Members who have ceased their membership during the year will receive their statement by mail.

The statement is a summary of payment subscriptions received by SASSLA for the financial year and is not a request for payment. The statement includes your personal and employment details. Please check your details and contact SASSLA to advise of changes or to provide additional information.

NOTE: Member Tax Contribution Statements for the 2018-2019 financial year were emailed to members on 1 July 2019 and are not available online. Please check your emails for this date and search for the subject “SASSLA Tax Contribution Statement”. If you still can’t find the statement, please contact us.

Testimonials

SASSLA
I see my SASSLA membership as a type of insurance policy. It’s my support network to fall back on in possible times of crisis. Knowing that I have legal assistance a phone call away and financial assistance with legal costs gives me peace of mind. It’s reassuring to know that I have genuine peer support now and throughout my future career.
